AEEGTA Presents
Coffee & Conservation Series (#05)
As decarbonization targets intensify and performance standards like ASHRAE 241 and Scope 1/2/3 emissions reporting take hold, one critical variable remains undervalued in building energy models: air filtration.
Far from a passive maintenance component, filtration has a direct and measurable impact on fan energy consumption, HVAC sizing, system longevity, and operational cost. Yet, it’s often overlooked in energy audits, retrofit strategies, and capital planning.
This technically focused session—presented in partnership with Blade Air—brings together experts in engineering, energy consulting, and incentive program strategy to explore how low-pressure, high-efficiency filtration can be a key enabler of energy savings, system optimization, and ESG alignment.
The session will cover how filtration impacts HVAC energy use, how to better account for airside variables in energy planning, and how to access funding for IAQ and system upgrades—all with a focus on achieving efficiency without added cost.
Presented in partnership with Blade Air, the panel brings together experts in engineering, consulting, and program strategy to offer a comprehensive perspective on rethinking airside efficiency.
